I took my first yoga class in college and practiced on and off for years until I found my way to Soul Nectar while living at home after being laid off — a high-stress time in my life. Coming to class four times a week changed everything. I began to experience yoga not just as movement, but as a pathway to self-reflection and healing. Through that practice, I worked through burnout in a new job and reconnected with my true self, which ultimately led me to complete my 200HR teacher training right here at Soul Nectar when I moved back to Michigan.
My classes invite a slower pace — a space to soften, breathe, and reconnect with presence. Rooted in my own journey through stress and burnout, I’m particularly passionate about offering gentle, grounding practices that support nervous system balance and inner peace.
I believe yoga is a practice of returning home to yourself — to stillness, curiosity, and ease. Off the mat, I find inspiration in quiet mornings, walks in nature, and the changing seasons that remind me that the present moment is the best place to be.
